Local news report an unusual fire at the old, defunct observatory; another of Dr. Bruknenko’s illicit broadcasts interrupts and rogue journalist Mark H. leaves an unsettling message for DI Chisholm.
EMT transmissions paint a grisly scene of the blaze at the observatory and Detective Inspector S. Chisholm discusses the current status of their dearest acquaintance, Jimmy Curtains.
Jimmy sends DI Chisholm the first of several memoirs regarding his time, decades ago, at the nefarious courier company.
